All my dear officer/employee friends  ,

I am your Srinivas.M., State President, Karnataka Rajya Ediga Nowkarara Kshemabhivrudhi Sangha, Bangalore makes obeisances.

Dear all, as you all know, this association came into existence in 2005 due to the vision and cooperation of senior officers like Mr. Jagadish Prasad, Mr. Shivananda, Mr. Mohan Das and many senior officers/employees, about 800 people got membership.

After I accepted the post of president of the association in the month of July-August 2022, in consultation with some like-minded officers/employees and many senior retired officers/officers of the association, it was decided to give innovation and new shape to this already existing association by increasing the membership strength of the association.

In order to extend its territorial reach to the entire state, we have decided to introduce the true strength of the association by making them all members, as an estimate, of more than 25000 officers/employees. Through this we set the goal that such an organization should do exemplary and inspiring work in all ways. That is why our association, and thus all our existing types of association, need the selfless service of employees to steer our officer employees’ welfare association in the right direction, on the right path.

Let’s sum them all up. Let’s unite all the officers/employees of 26 sub-sects like Billava Pujari, Namdhari, Deevar, Halepika etc. under the original name Ediga and build a strong association. In this background, as you all know, statewide district tour, taluk tour, direct visit, WhatsApp group, Google Meets have been launched. In this short period of time, I have seen the officers and employees who have personalities like quick mercury. I understand that there is a lot of confusion about the association. In this background, whether the 26 sub-sects have been strengthened in different ways or not, our wish is for everyone to come together. “Isolation of small communities weakens the association of welfare but strengthens the association of solidarity”. In that regard, we have an urgent need to unite the officers and employees of all the 26 sub divisions.

Professionals like Retired Government Relations Officers/Employees, Lawyers, Engineers, Doctors etc. have been brought under the purview of the Employees’ Organization as the Bylaws of the Association are freely shared with them. First and second generation we may be employees or officials, our third generation employees, children of officials, inventors, doctors are becoming private entrepreneurs, they are brought under the purview of welfare association as they are a great asset to our society and welfare association. The existing Zilla-Taluk Employees’ Welfare Associations are not enough. Are there no Sanghas named Sreenarayana Guru, Arya Ediga Sangha, its sub-branches? Not enough? Many have raised the question. All existing associations will be present. They continue as such.

“It is a state level association of officer employees. If it resonates strongly at the state level, that reverberation will reverberate across states, districts, taluks, so whatever form a Sangh takes, it is a Sangh. But it is not a nominal issue but it is our desire to actively involve everyone and become stronger in VK.

“One association should be a complement to another, a motivating helper, not a deadly sorcerer”

We have Lord Sri Narayana Guru who is indomitable Chaitanya Shakti in ten different ways. He was an unparalleled social reformer, social savior, universally agreeable. We must unite under the true “Icon” of the Guru in his name. If such gurus had “removed it to someone else, the pace of this would have been different” but recently we are realizing its importance. Lately their “dhee shakti” has been building solidarity. Positive development.

Thus, we should be empowered and empower our people in all fields by showing the strength and power of our community’s employees who have strong cultural roots. Even though we were so strong, it was 30 percent. The remaining 70 percent are our relatives, our relatives’ children, landless, laborers, very small holders, people with no background, who have not come into the mainstream.

Government’s idea, plan till they all come mainstream. I am eager to divert incentives and grants to them, prepare for them proper education, ability based education, self-reliant life, mechanized-scientific agriculture, industry, role in organizations in all possible ways and achieve this with the cooperation and advice of all of them.
